Cristo Rey RT Academics

Academic Vision:

Within a joyful, loving community, Cristo Rey RT High School provides a transformative education to traditionally underserved students.  We respect and engage students, balance challenge and support, integrate Corporate Work Study and rigorous academic instruction, and graduate college and career-ready men and women who are committed to faith and being people for others.

Our Values:

Respect & Care

As a community, we strive to see God in all people and treat everyone we encounter with dignity, respect, and kindness.

Commitment & Responsibility

We have ambitious goals, and we achieve these goals through dedication, perseverance, and hard work.

Faith & Justice

We are called to be men and women for others. We serve our community and aspire to transform our world.

3 Pillars of Academic Support:

Personalized Teaching

Faculty work one-on-one and in small groups with students to support their core classwork and to target specific topic areas where students struggle or have had limited previous exposure.

Tutoring

Tutors are assigned to specific students and work with them over the course of each semester. Each tutor collaborates with our core faculty, administrators, and other volunteers in order to give the most effective support.

Guidance Counseling

Cristo Rey Research Triangle understands that our students sometimes face enormous challenges unrelated to academics that nevertheless impede their classroom learning and growth. Our school counselors are here to respond to the personal and family needs of each of our students, help them overcome any obstacles, offer support and advice to students, meet with students, parents, and/or faculty and staff to resolve problems and may refer students and families to appropriate agencies for support.

Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School students will be prepared for college, earning at least 24 credits by graduation.
